该活动已连续两年选址徐汇举办，正是依托区域雄厚的游戏产业基底。作为上海游戏产业核心承载区，徐汇游戏产业综合实力领跑全市，2025年全区游戏产业营收突破780亿元；漕河泾、西岸两大板块获评市级游戏电竞核心功能区，汇聚米哈游、腾讯、网易等77家规模以上游戏企业以及上千家上下游产业链配套企业，产业生态完善成熟。<br />
政策与服务层面，徐汇出台全市首个全链条区级游戏专项扶持政策，建成全国首个政府运营的游戏产业服务中心，同步发布《游戏企业生长指南》《游戏出海手册》两大官方指引，布局专业游戏产业孵化器，全方位助力中小游戏创新团队发展。场景与生态层面，区内打造漕河泾元宇宙游戏街区“元界 Neo World”，常态化开展四季文商旅体展特色活动，同时也是上海唯一连续五年承办中国游戏产业年会的行政区。此外，徐汇牵头成立全国首个游戏企业版权保护联盟，搭建全维度IP保护体系，持续夯实产业发展底气，全力打造全国一流游戏产业高地。<br />
